Community Involvement

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House is located across from Children’s Hospital in Columbus. The House is available for families of children being treated at Children’s Hospital They provide living space, food and personal supplies for these families. The House operates on items and funds donated by individuals and organizations.

Each June Homeland Credt Union and the local McDonald Restaurants sponsor a carnival style fundraiser, “Fishin’ and Fun with Ronald McDonald”. All proceeds from the event go to the House. This is our 10th year for the event. Homeland Credit Union also donates a portion of all ATM transaction fees the the House.

Over the last 9 years Homeland Credit Union has donated over $20,000.00 to Ronald McDonald House Charities and is the sponsor of 2 rooms at the House, The Ross County Room and The Pickaway County Room.
