Homeland Credit Union is proud to announce that Mishion Payne, formerly the Manager of Mortgage Services, has been promoted to the institution's Vice President of Lending.

Payne brings with her to this role a long history with the Credit Union. Over the course of the last 16 years, she has served in nearly every department the Credit Union has to offer. Her passion, however, has always been lending.

“I love it when you take a member who maybe isn’t in the best financial position and help turn the not right now into a someday soon. Here at Homeland CU we strive to help our members meet their financial needs and grow their credit. I’m excited to continue that tradition while enhancing the member experience and working on some new programming as we venture into 2024.” Said Mishion Payne

Since being named The VP of Lending in September, Payne has already ushered in a new era of lending for Homeland Credit Union with the introduction of Indirect Lending. A program that allows individuals to finance directly with Homeland CU while visiting a local car dealership. This program is one example of a few things Payne has up her sleeve for enhanced lending opportunities for the current and future members of Homeland Credit Union.

“We are very proud of the outstanding career Mishion has had with Homeland and are looking forward to her continued work as she spearheads our lending efforts. We appreciate her commitment to our members and to our credit union. She is a tremendous asset to Homeland and to the local communities we serve.” Said Shayne Poe, CEO.

Mishion is a graduate of Chillicothe High School and Ohio University Chillicothe. She is passionate about our community, our members, and our future. Please join us in congratulating her on this new role.
